What a roller coaster fire and flood was. I would give this book an 8 out of 10 and would recommend it to ages 11+ I hated how they had to kill a pandora to get into the base camp it almost made me scream into my pillow like WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT !!!!!!! Overall, I really liked this book because I love a book that can play with your emotions and lead you on an adventure. I still want Tella to win because I love Cody!!! It was so unexpected when they announced the doink was actually a pandora the whole time. If I was the author of this book I might have ended it in a way that didn’t make people overthink what happens in their next book. I felt like this book was very climactic, though I wish there was a better twist that enhanced the book’s uncertainty. I was so sad when he died because I didn’t expect it. I found that he was in it to win it but in a way that he was polite and nice to everyone in the game. My favorite character was Levi because he was funny and he was very caring to help Tella when she was sick. I liked this book, though I have to say that the actual game sounds a lot like the hunger games from what I understood. I recommend this book 12+ and give it a 10/10. My favourite characters are Tella, who stays determined, Guy, who can be so tough and sweet at the same time, and Madox, who is so cute, I just want to cuddle him to death. I love this book! It’s amazing! The characters all unique with different backstorys, and the plot is so engaging that you’ll find yourself drowning in the pages of this novel. She’s bold, she’s determined, and fate is against her, but she’s Tella Holloway, and she’ll do whatever it takes to save her brother. A door she’s willing to take.īut she’s not the only one who got a message… Not that it’s done Tella any good.īut suddenly, out of nowhere, a group of people called the Brimstone Bleed send her a message. No one knows what’s wrong with him, but her parents for some reason insist that the fresh air will do him good. The reason for this? Her brother, Cody is sick. In this intriguing novel a girl called Tella is forced to move away from her hometown and into the middle of nowhere. Fire and Flood is a book you can’t put down.
